Aromatic cedar chest / keepsake box. Handmade solid aromatic cedar box with silver hinges, silver clasp and silver aluminum footing. Outside of box is treated with danish oil and finished with a warm lacquer. The inside is untreated in order to maintain the natural aromatic smell from this beautiful lumber. Care instructions
Cutting and serving boards are treated with white mineral oil and bees wax. Boards do dry out and should be treated at least every 60 days or after cleaning. Do not submerge in water or place in a dishwasher.
Do you stain wood boxes
Generally no, however we aim to please..want it stained ask us I’ll seek out the color.
What are your crafts made of?
We mix it up! Our goodies are made with cedar, maple, walnut, cherry etc. We do use exotic inlays on many of our projects such as padauk, purple heart, yellow heart, poplar, walnut, hackberry and so many others.
